Encashment of Self / third party cheque at non-home branches.

Encashment of self cheques (personal segment SB cheques only) is allowed at par up to Rs 50000/- when presented by the A/c holder. No other encashment is permitted at non-home branches.

Pass book updation at Non Home Branch

Rs.10/- per pass book

Note:

  • All Charges to be taken at the Branch where the transaction/service is extended/delivered.
  • In case of remittance by Cash, charges  (if any)  have to be recovered from the remitter.
  • In case of transfer transactions, beneficiary’s account should be credited only after deducting charges (if any).  i.e   Amount net of our charges will be credited to the beneficiaries account. E.g. If a person wants to transfer Rs 60000/- from his home branch to another account with a different centre, he must issue a cheque of Rs 60028/- so that the beneficiary would get an amount of Rs 60000/-.
  • Existing approved arrangements with Government Institutions / Public Sector Corporations / Boards / Corporates may be continued with the specific permission of their controllers.
  • Personal Segment Multi-city cheques, which are issued as per norms, will not come under the purview of this circular.
